Our hospital is evolving:
Groß-Sand has been transformed into a specialized facility focusing on early neurological and neurosurgical rehabilitation as well as geriatrics.

Internal Medicine

In our internist department we treat patients with acute or chronic diseases of the inner organs. The main focus is the endoscopic diagnosis and therapy of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

Geriatrics

Groß-Sand Hospital is well known for the geriatric department. A very important part of our work is the early rehabilitation of the elderly patients after diseases or operations – our aim is to bring you back home very soon. We also offer neurological rehabilitation for patients suffering from strong neurological diseases or injuries.

The emergency room and surgical department have been closed and we no longer have an on-call doctor (work-related and commuting accidents) in-house.
